I donated 50.00 to a friend who recently lost his battle with cancer. When I reviewed my invoice there was a total of 55.00.

I never saw or checked anything that said I wanted to make a donation to the company as well. I realize it cost money to run this organization and I have no problem giving an extra 5.00 to them. What troubles me is how it was done--not on the up and up. When I left a comment on the website the CSR wanted me to give all my information again in order to return my 5.00.

I hope I have not just been suckered into some kind of scam that feeds off compassion. This just reminds me of why I always choose to give money in a card.

Review about: Youcaring Crowdfunding Service.

Reason of review: Problems with payment.

Monetary Loss: $5.

Preferred solution: I just want to know if this is a scam.

I didn't like: How they went about receiving a donation to themselves.

I feel just the same about this, friend. In any case, even if you are aware of the contribution to themselves, the website gives the impression that you have no option.
